Chocolate Candy Popcorn!

I have a friend who just asked for this recipe and really it makes the most wonderful neighbor/home&visiting teaching gift or just a fun FHE snack so I figured I would post it. You can make your white chocolate pink for vday or use any color for weddings, events etc. Its super yummy and really pretty to present! So here ya go...

Chocolate Candy Popcorn
1C unpopped corn
1 1/3 C almonds or cashews
1/2 C light corn syrup
1 1/3 C sugar
1 C Butter
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 Tbs vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Milk and white melting chocolate

Mix popped corn and nuts in 2 large bowls (makes a lot). In pan, mix syrup, sugar, butter and tartar. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and boil until just before hard boil stage. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour half over each bowl of popcorn/nutx. Stir to coat evenly. Spread wax paper onto cookie sheets and pour popcorn onto wax paper. Drizzle with milk AND white chocolate. Let dry and break apart.
